Cordell Connect offers a flexible way of searching across multiple data sets to enable a highly customised search result. This article explains the features and filters you can use to find projects which are relevant to your business.
Once you have logged in, the homepage will display the following sections:

The number of projects you have access to on your current subscription

Six key sections with filters to narrow down your search. Click through each section and select the criteria which applies to you. Click on the Search button to commence your search within any of the sections.

Filters that you have applied will appear in the Search Criteria Applied panel. Click Reset to clear your filters and start over.

The Quick Links panel lets you quickly search by Project ID or view projects with Tender Listed, New Projects and Updated Projects

Searching from the Project tab enables you to view all the search filters on one page, instead of clicking through the six key sections. To get started, click on Project from the top navigation menu and select Search Projects .

Searching by keywords lets you refine your search beyond the available filters to return highly relevant results.
For example, if you are a landscape architect specialising in rooftop gardens, type ‘rooftop garden’ in the Keyword field to find projects with this feature. You may also search for projects requiring specific construction materials (e.g. brick, welding steel, treated pine) using the Materials field.

Search for projects based on their Tracking Info , Details and Status .
For example, you may choose to search for only active projects, and to exclude deferred and abandoned projects from your search results.

The location section gives you the flexibility to search using a specific address, suburb(s), state, council or postcode.

Address : Type in the exact address

Suburb : You may search for more multiple suburbs by separating each suburb with a comma (,)

State : Tick the checkbox to select one or more states. Leave the checkboxes unticked if you wish to run a search across all states. You may also choose to restrict your search to only metro or country areas by ticking the relevant checkbox.

Council List : To search by council list, click on the radio button and then click within the text box that appears. A pop up window will appear. Here, you will have the ability to choose council areas from the drop down menu, or click within the map to make your selection. Both methods allow you to include multiple states in your search.
Choose the state and region then double click on the council area name to add it to the Selected Councils box. Or, click on the Add All button to add all the council areas in the state or region. Click on the Clear All button to remove all selected council areas. Click Save to add selected council areas to your search.

On the map, click on the state, then region, and then the council area to add it to the Selected Councils box. You may add more than one area. Click on the Clear All button to remove all selected council areas. Click Save to add selected council areas to your search.

Search for projects based on their Section , Stage , Category , Trade , Ownership , and Development Type . Click on the tooltip icon to understand how stages are defined. To select multiple options, hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking on the search criteria you wish to apply.

Use this section to search for projects based on value, area size, no. of floors and units, and various milestone dates.

After you have set your search criteria, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Search button.
