Branches let you divide your agency into separate subdivisions in RiTA to help you better manage automations and users. It is useful for agencies that have multiple offices using the same database, run an open database, and to help those with bigger teams. A branch lets you configure mandatory filters for automations and access analytics for your branch.
A branch admin has similar permissions as an admin in RiTA but they also have the ability to do so much more. A branch admin can:
-
Manage/configure branches
-
Manage/edit users in their branch
-
Add users in their branch.
-
Manage/edit automations for their branch.
Branch admins do not have the same permissions as a normal Admin RiTA User. A branch admin cannot:
-
Cannot edit their branch settings
-
Cannot edit the branch mandatory filters
-
Cannot edit the branch admin page
-
Navigate to Admin, then Branch Management. Then click “New Branch”
-
You can now enter in the details for your branch.
-
Enter in your branch name eg office or team name
-
Enter in your branch address; at the moment this only helps you identify the branch location.
-
Enter in mandatory automation filters for your branch. These filters are automatically applied to all automations created for your branch.
-
Enter in the users for your branch and set them up as either Branch Admin or Users. Branch admin have more permissions than a User but not as much as an Admin.
-
Once you have finished, click Save and this will create a new Branch.
-
To edit a branch, navigate to the Branch management page in Admin, find your branch name and click on the small three dots on the right hand side. Click Edit Branch or Delete Branch
-
Branch admin can now see the Admin page in RiTA. Navigate to Admin and click on User Management. You will now be able to see everyone in your branch.
-
Click New user. Fill in the details like normal and click “Create Draft and Invite.
