CoreLogic collects data from a range of sources, including QV Group, Opteon, the District Valuation Roll, Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), local councils, and territorial authorities.
If there are discrepancies between the property information you have and the information that you see in Property Guru, you may reach out to us or to the relevant data provider outlined in this article.
The Rating Valuation for each property can be found on the property detail page below the Valuation Estimate panel.
Rating valuations are conducted every 3 years to help determine council rates. The data for rating valuations are provided to CoreLogic by QV Group, Opteon and local councils. Please contact the local council or territorial authority (TA) where the property is located to verify the rating valuation information that you have on hand, or to identify the relevant data provider to speak with.
The sales data for each property can be found on the property detail page.
When a property is sold, the solicitor involved in the sales must report the transaction to the local council and/or the the District Valuation Roll. This update will then be made available on the property record. If a recent sale is not available on Property Guru, it may be because the sale is still being processed.
You may contact our Customer Care team by email on info@corelogic.co.nz or 0800 355 355 should you wish to advise us of discrepancies within the sales data. However, we will not be able to update the data unless it is provided by the District Valuation Roll.
Properties with provisional sales data are marked with a Recent Advice label against the property record. Whenever you come across a property with a Recent Advice label, it means that the sales data hasn’t been officially registered by LINZ but is obtained directly from sales agents. The Recent Advice label will be removed when CoreLogic receives the official sales data.
If you have recently sold a property and would like to provide us provisional sales data so that your agency is shown against the sale on Property Guru, please email our Recent Sales team at recent.sales@corelogic.com.au
Property ownership information is provided to the local councils and the District Valuation Roll by Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). We receive this information from the local Council and/or the District Valuation Roll.
When a property is sold or transferred, it may take up to a month for the property ownership information to be provided to CoreLogic and made available on Property Guru. If the property has not transacted recently, please email our Customer Care team on info@corelogic.co.nz to investigate further.
